Swimming SA is the parent body of swimming in this State. It is affiliated with Swimming Australia. 

At Unley Swimming Club members are registered with Swimming SA each year. On registration each competitive member receives a registration number on a card. This card must be available at all swimming meets and is used to gain access into the SA Aquatic Centre for race meets.

Swimming SA officials organise and run carnivals acting as referees, starters, stroke judges, recorders and all the many other tasks required. They wear white uniforms.  Please follow their instructions to ensure that carnivals run smoothly. If in doubt about a swimming matter ask any Swimming SA official.  They are there to help.

The annual Swimmers Handbook is published each year by Swimming SA.  It contains the dates of all swimming events conducted by the Association together with carnival dates, open water swims and a myriad of other helpful information regarding time conversions, procedures etc.  Please speak to either one of our coaches, or a committee member to obtain your copy of the relevant year Handbook if you have not received one as yet.
